• The Dolphins posted a 16-13 victory at New Orleans this evening to close their preseason with a 3-1 record.
• Miami closes the preseason with its first winning record since 2014, when they also went 3-1 in the preseason.
• This marks the third time in the past decade the Dolphins have won at least three preseason games (2019, 2014 and
2011).
RUDOCK LEADS DOLPHINS TO VICTORY
• QB Jake Rudock took every snap under center for the Dolphins tonight and completed 22-of-29 passes (75.9 pct.) for 229 yards and one touchdown, giving him a 109.7 passer rating.
• Rudock’s 229 passing yards were the most by a Dolphins quarterback in a preseason game since QB Pat Devlin threw for 259 yards on Aug. 29, 2013 in a win vs. New Orleans.
• Rudock finished the first half completing 13-of-16 passes (81.3 pct.) for 152 yards and one touchdown. His first-half passer rating was 127.1 and he led three scoring drives in four possessions.
SANDERS LEADS NFL IN PRESEASON POINTS
• K Jason Sanders was a perfect 3-for-3 (100.0 pct.) on field goal opportunities today, making him 10-for-10 (100.0 pct.) during the preseason.
• His 36 points in the preseason were the most of anyone in the NFL this year.
• Sanders’ 10 field goals are the most by a Dolphins kicker in the preseason since K Olindo Mare converted 10-of-14
(71.4 pct.) opportunities in the 2000 preseason. His 36 points are the most by a Dolphins player since K Olindo Mare also had 36 points in the 2003 preseason.

• S Maurice Smith and DE Dewayne Hendrix each had sacks tonight, giving the Dolphins a total of 13 for the preseason. Miami’s 13 sacks are tied for sixth in the NFL this preseason.

• RB Patrick Laird finished 10th in the NFL in preseason rushing yards (114) and second in yards per carry (4.6, min. 25 att.).
• DE Nate Orchard finished the preseason tied for second in the NFL with four sacks. DE Dewayne Hendrix was tied for 10th with three sacks.
