MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced they have placed running back Salvon Ahmed on the active/non-football injury list and placed linebacker Bradley Chubb, linebacker Cameron Goode, linebacker Jaelan Phillips and offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Ahmed was awarded off waivers to Miami on Aug. 26, 2020 and has played in 38 career games with four starts. He’s totaled 163 carries for 593 yards (3.6 avg.) and five touchdowns, along with 40 receptions for 274 yards (6.9 avg.) and one touchdown during his four-year career. Ahmed originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with San Francisco on May 1, 2020. He played collegiately at Washington.
Chubb has played in 73 career games with 72 starts during six NFL seasons with Denver (2018-22) and Miami (2022-23). In 2023, he started 16 games for Miami, recording 73 tackles (45 solo), 11.0 sacks, two passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. His 11.0 sacks led the team last season, while his six forced fumbles led the league. Chubb was acquired by Miami in a trade with Denver on Nov. 1, 2022. He was originally a first-round pick (fifth overall) by Denver in the 2018 NFL Draft following a standout career at North Carolina State.
Goode played in all 17 games for Miami last season, recording three tackles (one solo) and three special teams stops (two solo). Goode was a seventh-round pick (224th overall) by Miami in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at California.
Phillips has played in 42 games with 26 starts with Miami during three seasons (2021-23), totaling 146 tackles (88 solo), 22.0 sacks, one interception, five passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. In 2023, he played in eight games with six starts, totaling 43 tackles (28 solo), 6.5 sacks, one interception and two passes defensed before suffering a season-ending injury. Phillips was selected in the first round (18th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft by Miami after finishing his collegiate career at the University of Miami.
Wynn started seven games at left guard for Miami last season, his first with the club. He helped Miami lead the NFL in total offense (401.3) and passing offense (265.5). Wynn spent the prior five seasons (2018-22) with New England and has played in 50 career games with 47 starts. He originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick (23rd overall) by New England in the 2018 NFL Draft following a collegiate career at Georgia.
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced they have placed safety Mark Perry on the active/non-football injury list and wide receiver Tahj Washington on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Perry signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 10, 2024. He played his final two collegiate seasons (2022-23) at TCU, where he recorded 142 tackles (103 solo), six passes defensed and one forced fumble. He was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2023 after starting 12 games for the Horned Frogs. Perry transferred from Colorado, where he spent three years (2019-21) and accounted for 91 tackles (63 solo), 2.0 sacks, three interceptions, seven passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick. He was also a sprinter on Colorado’s Track and Field team.
Washington was selected in the seventh round (241st overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He played in 39 games with 30 starts during three seasons (2021-23) at Southern California, where he caught 163 receptions for 2,449 yards (15.0 avg.) and 15 touchdowns. He was named All-Pac 12 honorable mention in 2022. Washington transferred from Memphis, where he brought in 43 receptions for 743 yards (17.3 avg.) and six touchdowns as a redshirt freshman.
