INDIANAPOLIS, IN. – The NCAA announced the qualifiers for the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Regional Tournament on Friday evening. The 20th ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Golf team was selected as the fifth-seed in the South/Southeast Regional Tournament.
At a minimum, the top three teams and top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the NCAA Division II national championship tournament from May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The remaining eight berths to the national championship will be allocated based on the regions represented in prior year’s head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region being capped at seven.
The South/Southeast Regional, the deepest field in the NCAA Division II tournament, will consist of 20 programs. Joining the Sharks in the tournament will be No. 2 West Florida (Gulf South Conference Champions), No. 7 Lee, No. 10 Florida Southern (Sunshine State Conference Champions), No. 18 Rollins, No. 26 Barry, Saint Leo, Palm Beach Atlantic, Embry-Riddle, and Spring Hill (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champions). The teams representing the Southeast will be No. 4 North Georgia, No. 3 Lincoln Memorial (South Atlantic Conference Champions), No. 9 South Carolina Aiken (Peach Belt Conference Champions), No. 13 Columbus State, No. 14 Wingate, No. 16 Lander, No. 25 Lenoir-Rhyne, Flagler, and Barton.
