HOW IT HAPPENED:· Evening Session
- Malek Masmoudi notched the men’s program’s first-ever gold medal with a time of 15:31.85 in the 1650-free.
· Morning Session
- Dalton Brown, Aleksander Olejnik, Thomas Labarias, Jacob Wootton, Brad Jacobs, Hunter Smith and Egecan Tezcan all swam the 100-free.
- Ignacio Alvarez finished 18th in the 200-breast (2:09.47).
- Daniel Varon and Julian Perez also participated in the 200-breast.
- David Romeo took on the 1650-free.
