Men’s Lacrosse Took the Beach, but not Just For Fun

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Very few things are as identifiable with the state of Florida as the beaches. The Lynn University Men’s Lacrosse team recently did their part to help keep those Sunshine State icons clean.

The Fighting Knights took part in International Coastal Clean-Up Day they put their efforts to work on the shores of Sandoway Beach and Delray Beach.

“This is our seventh year for cleaning up the coast,” said Lynn Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Brian Kingsbury. “It’s great to get the guys together off campus to have a different learning experience and bond on a new level. We live by the beach and this day is a good way to give back to nature and the community.”

It is always a great time to help the environment but the timing of this even was key as it came during the middle of sea turtle season.
