BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University men’s lacrosse’s Dryden Brous and Xander Cosenza both received recognition as Maverik Men’s DII Media All-Americans, as announced by InsideLacrosse.com.
Brous, a senior face-off specialist, was selected to the Second Team while Cosenza, a junior midfielder, earned Third Team accolades.
Brous went 131-for-156 on the season, collecting 108 ground balls, adding one goal and one assist. His faceoff winning percentage of .840 and 18 ground balls per game both led the nation. In his career, he has earned 13 Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Specialist of the Week awards, most all-time.
He has previously notched All-America status from the USILA twice, tabbed with Honorable Mention accolades in 2019 and Third Team honors in 2018.
Cosenza becomes the second player in program history, joining his teammate Brous, to earn All-American status. He ranked second on the team in goals with nine and had a team-high seven assists, totaling 16 points in six contests.
