MELBOURNE, Fla. – Lynn University men’s basketball’s Christian Peevy earned a Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference (SSC) nod along with being selected to the SSC’s All-Newcomer Team, as announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Peevy started in all 27 of the Fighting Knights’ games in 2019-20 after arriving in Boca Raton from Division-I University of Incarnate Word. The redshirt-junior averaged a team-high 18.6 points per game, adding 7.1 rebounds per game and 2.1 assists per game. The Chicago, Ill.-native made 121 free throws at a 83.4 percent clip, ranking fourth in the SSC for most free throws made.
Peevy is the first Second Team selection for the Blue and Whtie since Marquan Botley in 2016-17 and the first All-Newcomer choice since Darius Moore in 2018-19.
