WINTER PARK, Fla. – The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Basketball team, led by a double-double from Ryker Cisarik (18 points, 11 rebounds), defeated the Rollins Tars 108-64 in Sunshine State Conference action on Wednesday evening.

First Half – Starting from the opening tip-off, the Sharks took control of the Sunshine State Conference showdown, opening the contest on a 10-2 run. Ryker Cisarik recorded five consecutive points for the Sharks, finishing a layup and knocking down a three-pointer, and extended Nova Southeastern’s advantage to 17-5 over Rollins within the first five minutes of the game. Shortly following the midway point of the first half, Isaiah Fuller set up a fast break opportunity for the Sharks with a steal and Shane Hunter capitalized with a dunk, extending NSU’s lead to 27-16. Shortly after, MJ Iraldi went coast-to-coast with a steal and followed with a dunk of his own. In the closing moments of the first half, Ryan Davis beat the buzzer, sending Nova Southeastern into the break with a 51-31 lead.
Second Half – NSU opened the second half on a 12-2 run against the Tars, extending the lead to 63-33. The Sharks were able to double Rollins’ points, taking a 69-34 lead following a fast break jumper from Mike Moore. Mangold finsihed an and-one, extending the Sharks advantage to 81-43, just after the midway point of the second half. The Sharks continued to control the contest for the remainder of game, finishing off the 108-64 victory over Rollins. The 44-point margin of victory is Nova Southeastern’s second largest of the season (48 vs. Tampa). Each member of the Sharks recorded points in the contest.

No. 3 Nova Southeastern returns to action on Saturday, January 13th, taking on Florida Tech in a Sunshine State Conference matchup from the Clemente Center. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
