FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The top-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Basketball team brought in the new year with a dominant 114-88 over the Tampa Spartans in Sunshine State Conference play. Three Sharks recorded over 20 points, as Dallas Graziani (22 points/11 assist) recorded his seventh double-double of the season, while Ross Reeves added 22 points of his own and MJ Iraldi recorded a game-high 25 points.
No. 1 Nova Southeastern has now won 70 consecutive games at the Rick Case Arena dating back to February 26, 2020.

First Half – Ryker Cisarik took over the game for NSU in the early going, scoring six of the first eight points for the Sharks, as Nova Southeastern opened the game on an 8-2 run. Dallas Graziani and Ross Reeves knocked down back-to-back three pointers for the Sharks extending the NSU advantage to 14-6. Nova Southeastern opened up a sizable lead following a 9-0 run in which MJ Iraldi, Graziani, Reeves and Cisarik all contributed points, giving the Sharks a 37-20 advantage. Tampa cut the deficit to nine, but eight combined points from Graziani and Reeves – including a four-point play from Reeves – put the score at 56-39 in favor of NSU. Nova Southeastern went into halftime leading 61-53 over the Spartans.
Second Half – Nova Southeastern started the second half on a 6-0 run, capitalizing on a pair of Tampa turnovers. The Sharks maintained a double digit advantage throughout the second half, winning their 70th consecutive home game, defeating the Spartans 114-88.
