| 12/3/2024 | Men’s Basketball MIAMI, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic’s men’s basketball team will head south to Miami to take on FIU on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The game, airing on CBS Sports Network, is scheduled to tip off at 6:30 p.m. It will mark the 55th matchup between the Owls and the Panthers in a rivalry that dates back to 1990. While the latter currently holds the series lead at 28-26, FAU has won their last seven meetings, tying their longest winning streak. Baldwin Arena for the first time in 22 days on Saturday, Nov. 30 with a matchup against Florida Gulf Coast, in which the Owls fell at the buzzer by a score of 80-78. Junior forward Baba Miller and graduate guard KyKy Tandy each made five three-pointers, with Miller leading the charge on a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. For his efforts, Miller was named an honorable mention for the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week award.
