MBB | Owls Claim No. 2 Seed in the AAC Tournament

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2023-24 regular season has concluded for the 14 teams in the American Athletic Conference. They will now take on the AAC Tournament, beginning on Wednesday, Mar. 13 and ending Sunday, Mar. 17 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Florida Atlantic’s men’s basketball team (24-7, 14-4) earned the number two seed and will have a bye in the first two days before playing their first game on Friday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. EST, to be aired on ESPNU.

For their first AAC Tournament game in program history, the Owls will face the winner of the second-round matchup between No. 7 North Texas (17-13, 10-8 AAC) and No. 10 Tulane (14-16, 5-13 AAC). FAU swept both teams in the regular season.

The last team standing in the 2024 AAC Championship will earn an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

TICKETS

AAC men’s basketball tickets are reserved seating with all-session passes priced in three tiers, tier one ($400), tier two ($325), and tier three ($125), in addition to a $10 processing fee. Tickets will be delivered via email and become manageable at a later date using the venue website (will not appear on am.ticketmaster.com/fau)
