BOCA RATON, Fla. – Matas Vokietaitis and Kaleb Glenn of the Florida Atlantic men’s basketball team received American Athletic Conference Weekly Honors for the second week of the 2024-25 regular season, announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
For the first time in his career, Vokietaitis was named AAC Freshman of the Week after participating in the 2024 Field of 68 Tip-Off event. Vokietaitis recorded six points with a career-high of nine rebounds in 20 minutes in the double-overtime game against Charleston to kick off round robin, this was followed by registering a career-high of 17 points with six boards to lead the Owls in a win over Liberty.
Sophomore forward Kaleb Glenn was named AAC Weekly Honorable Mention after recording a career-high 27 points on Friday evening against Charleston. Glenn went 10-for-14 from the field and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. With back-to-back double-digit scoring outings, he scored 12 points against Liberty to close out the week.

The Owls remain in Charleston to take part in the 2024 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, hosted by ESPN. Competing in an eight-team field, Florida Atlantic’s first opponent will be Oklahoma State (3-0) on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 2:30 p.m. Games will follow on Nov. 22 and Nov. 24.
