| 12/12/2025 | Men’s Basketball BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic’s “Inside the Owls’ Burrow” television show, which airs each week on FanDuel Sports Network Florida, featured a “Get to Know You” piece with redshirt sophomore guard Devin Vanterpool. Vanterpool joined the Owls in 2023-24 from Christ the King. He has been at Florida Atlantic for the past three seasons. In his first season, he redshirted, and then saw action for the first time last season at the AIA Total Tip-off versus Indiana State to kick off Head Coach John Jakus‘ first season at the helm. Vanterpool saw more time on the court as the season progressed. It was not until this season that he has taken off. He leads the Owls in scoring (168), points per game (16.8), assists (29), steals (17), and rebounds (63). This season, he has started in all 10 games thus far and has recorded a total of 307 minutes. UP NEXT The Owls will host Albany on Saturday, Dec. 13, for Camper’s Day. The Owls are inviting John Jakus‘ summer youth camp attendees back to Paradise. Holiday-themed celebrations are also planned for this Holiday Hoots game, with fans encouraged to donate unwrapped toys that will be distributed to local charities.
