Major League Baseball today launched the ballot for the official All-MLB Team presented by MGM Rewards, which recognizes and commemorates the top performances by players during the 2024 regular season.
Miami Marlins infielder Jake Burger is on the ballot as a nominee at first base this season. Before the start of games played today, Burger leads the Marlins offense with a career high 133 hits, 29 home runs, 76 RBI, 67 runs, 245 total bases, .461 slugging percentage, and a .767 OPS in 136 games played. His 19 home runs after July 19 rank tied for second-most in the National League and tied for fourth-most in Major League Baseball, while his stretch of six home runs in six games from August 7-13 tied a Marlins franchise record (fifth instance in club history).
