M-GOLF | Owls Begin Fall Campaign in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men’s golf starts its fall season in South Carolina on Sunday at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate. Coastal Carolina is the tournament host at Grande Dunes Golf Club.
The Lineup
The Owls’ new-look lineup features just one mainstay from last season – sophomore NaShawn Tyson. After sitting out last season, Guilherme Grinberg is also back for his senior campaign.
Freshmen will occupy the remaining three spots for the first event of the fall. Ian SoderholmBiagio Gagliardi, and Jack Brugman will get an early chance to cement their spot in head coach Adrien Mörk’s starting five.
The CourseGrande Dunes will play as a par 72 at 7,578 yards. The course has been ranked among “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses,” and the Roger Rulewich design is better than ever after a renovation project that included new greens and an overhaul of every bunker on the course. Recently voted Myrtle Beach’s best golf course, Grande Dunes is one of the area’s most creative designs.
The Field
The field features 87 individuals representing 14 teams, including one fellow AAC opponent (East Carolina) and one fellow in-state Florida opponent (Jacksonville).
Live Scoring
The Owls will be paired with Campbell and Elon in Sunday’s first round starting 9:40 a.m. on the 10th tee.
