Tempe, Ariz.
– Following a pair of wins over ranked opponents last week, Lynn University’s women’s tennis team is back inside the top five of Division II with the latest release of the Oracle/ITA National Rankings this week. The Fighting Knights’ win over No. 1 Barry on Tuesday is not yet factored into the poll.

The Blue and White move up three spots from last week to No. 4 in the national rankings. Lynn is a perfect 14-0 overall on the season with six wins over ranked opponents.

From the Sunshine State Conference, Barry remains in the top spot while Saint Leo moves up to No. 2, even though Lynn already defeated the Lions 6-1 on the road earlier this year. No. 8 Nova Southeastern and No. 12 Florida Southern round out a strong league contingent.

Leolia Jeanjean takes over as Lynn’s highest-ranked singles player, moving up 20 spots to No. 40. Natalia Siedliska slides up three spots to No. 44.

The Fighting Knights are still without a nationally-ranked doubles squad. Jeanjean and Siedliska are 12-0 on the year at No. 1 doubles and just defeated the No. 1 ranked doubles pair on Sunday.
