BOCA RATON, Fla. – It seems like every other time Lynn volleyball takes the floor this season they are accomplishing something that hasn’t been done before. That continued Friday night against Eckerd. The second sweep over the Tritons this season pushed the Fighting Knights winning streak to 11.

STATS OF THE GAME:
– Player of the Week Marine Kinna led all players with 16 kills. She posted another double-double with 10 digs.
– Biatriz Souza Berti is the three-time setter of the week and continued her streak of 30 plus assists matches with 31.
– Sonja Udovcic also has a double-double with 10 kills and a match high 14 digs.
– Ruth Zijlstra had 11 digs.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
– Souza Berti has now posted at least 30 assists in 14-straight matches.
– Lynn hit .278 as a team and held Eckerd under .100 at .68.
INSIDE THE STREAK
– Lynn has a 33-4 set record over the winning streak.
– They have picked up six season sweeps over the streak.
– The winning streak has put Lynn in position to win its first Sunshine State Conference Title. With a win over Florida Southern on Saturday they will clinch at least a share of the title.
