Lynn Men’s Lacrosse Fall Schedule More than Just Competition

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University men’s lacrosse program has finalized its fall schedule and will be helping out some good causes in addition to getting ready for the upcoming spring season.

First up on the autumn slate is the annual alumni match, which is Saturday beginning at noon on the campus of Lynn University.

On October 27, they travel across the state to Tampa to take part in a tournament the Spartans are putting on to help benefit pediatric cancer. The tournament will raise money through the Vs. Cancer Foundation the money raised by teams participating in the tournament will go to support the Tampa General Hospital.

The first weekend of November Lynn will travel to Winter Park and take part in the JM Night Event that is put on by Mercer University. The Bears put on the event in honor of former signee John Michael Night who suffered a brain stem stroke the summer before he was scheduled to start attending classes in Macon, Ga. The games will be played at Lake Howell High School where Night attended.

MEN’S LACROSSE FALL SCHEDULE

–          Oct. 12 Alumni Match, Noon.

–          Oct. 27 Vs. Cancer Tournament at Tampa University.

–          Nov. 3 vs. Mercer, 3 p.m.

–          Nov. 3 vs. Tampa, 5 p.m.

–          Both Nov. 3 matches will be played at Lake Howell High School in Winter Park.
