Lynn Men’s Golf Ranked No. 2 in Latest DII Coaches Poll
Norman, Okla. – Lynn University’s men’s golf team maintained its No. 2 national ranking in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Friday.
The defending NCAA Division II National Champions opened the year ranked second and have not moved from that position. Barry owns the top ranking with 14 first-place votes. The Blue and White earned two first-place votes while West Florida held steady at third and collected the remaining first-place ballot. Florida Southern and Florida Tech round out the top five.
Lynn has three consecutive top-five finishes, and four overall, with a pair of tournament victories and a runner-up finish at the NCAA DII Preview. The squad next heads to Valdosta, Ga., to take part in the Southeastern Collegiate Championship. Five of the top-10 teams in the country, including Nos. 1-4, will compete in the 54-hole event, now in its 28th year of existence.
