Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent DB Christian Izien. Contract terms were not disclosed.
Izien comes to Detroit after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2023-25). He originally joined the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers following the 2023 NFL Draft.
In 45-career games (15 starts), he has recorded 158 tackles (106 solo), eight tackles for loss, five pass defenses, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and two quarterback hits.
