Kinna and Udovcic Make All American History for Lynn Volleyball

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the first time in the history of Lynn volleyball, they have placed someone on the AVCA All-American First-Team. They didn’t get just one first-team member, they got two. Marine Kinna and Sonja Udovcic both earned the honor thanks to their outstanding performances this season.

Udovcic, a junior from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who just recently became the first Fighting Knight to be named South Region Player of the Year posted a career-high 429 digs and had, even more, kills with 432 and hit an impressive .247%.

Kinna had a breakout season. The junior from Guethary, France posted career highs in kills, 438, digs, 391, and hitting percentage at .240%. Playing in just 10 more sets this season, she upped her kill total by 325.

This is just the latest program accomplishment for Lynn volleyball, which saw them set records for most wins, conference wins and longest winning streak in a single season this past year.
