Jake Peacock Earns Spot on Haskins Watch List, Recognizing the Nation’s Best

TAMPA, Fla (November 12, 2024) – The No. 18 ranked collegiate golfer, Jake Peacock, has been named to the Haskins Award Watch List presented by Stifel. Peacock has an opportunity to become first golfer from the University of South Florida to win the highest individual honor in collegiate golf.

The 2023-24 AAC champion picked up right where he left off last season. Peacock began the season ranked No. 25 by PGA Tour University, but has quickly climbed to No. 18 through his first three tournaments. The back-to-back AAC Golfer of the Month has consistently excelled for the Bulls during their fall campaign as he’s posted a third, sixth and first place finish. His average score of 69.33 is currently on pace to break South Florida’s all-time single season average (70) set by Albin Bergstrom.

Peacock has led the Bulls to a solid start to the season as they have posted a sixth, fifth and first place finish. The Bulls will be back on the course February 1 for the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate where Peacock will aim to join the likes of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson as the nation’s top collegiate golfer.
