(On the lack of mistakes from QB Gardner Minshew II) “I’m not going to put any bad juice on my dude. He comes in and he plays, everybody makes mistakes, but he’s coming in putting in the work. Everybody on this team is putting in the work and it’s showing. We have a lot of confidence in him. He is definitely holding it down, and a lot of people are surprised, but we weren’t because we know the type of character he has and the way he works.”
(On his biggest difference between this year versus last year) “I think it’s experience, and knowing what to expect from a mental standpoint. Knowing defenses, knowing the offense, knowing how to prepare and how to take care of my body compared to last year, where I was just waking up, going to practice and going home. But now, it’s a method behind everything and I realize that. I think that’s been helping me out a lot.”
(On Gardner Minshew II’s performance in the victory) “I love him. He gets out there, he puts in the work. He goes through his reads. I think that’s the biggest thing; a lot of quarterbacks don’t go through their reads. They lock in on a guy, but he’s very smart. Like I always point back to, he has Nick [Foles] in the room with him; he’s a genius when you have a guy like that. And you have a team that’s surrounding you and trying to uplift you. I think he’s going to continue to do big things.”

(On his performance in tonight’s game) “I had a real good performance in tonight’s game. My task on the field was to show up and protect the quarterback and Gardner [Minshew II] made a lot of plays out there on the field.”
(On protecting the rookie QB as a rookie himself) “Gardner is a very great quarterback for us and with both of us being rookies we are just trying to help the team win games and that’s why the Jaguars brought us to the team. We are just trying to give the team our all and work hard out there on the field.”

(On the defensive line as a whole.) “Only thing I can say is elite greatness. I don’t even want to talk about myself. I’m talking about my guys, Calais [Campbell] , Abry [Jones], Josh Allen just dogs all around the defensive line. I don’t feel like we have any starters, I feel like our whole defensive line are starters and everybody can fill in and come in and make plays.”
(On the defensive production.) “It feels great. A lot of guys came up to me saying I was setting guys up with chips and things of that nature. That just goes to show you the type of talent we have, guys that can make plays. When somebody gets doubled another guy has to step up and that’s what the guy does.”
(On if ‘Sacksonville’ is back) “What you think? That’s all I want to know. Sacksonville’s back baby! It’s back!”
