(On the quick start for the offense) “When Leonard [Fournette] broke for that long run, we knew that it was [going] to be a good day for us.”
(On getting open for Gardner Minshew II) “Anytime we’re in the red zone, and Gardner [Minshew II] gets to scrabbling, I try to squeeze through everybody and find him, and he has a good eye for that. We almost had two in the endzone, but just try to find an open spot where I can get to so he can make the throw.”
(On everyone staying focused and knowing what’s at stake) “I think we knew what was at stake when we were two and four. Every week, every day, everybody comes in and goes to work, no matter what happens that Sunday, and we get ready for the next week. We challenge each other and we challenge ourselves.”
(On players keeping each other focused) “A lot of positivity in the locker room, working together even when you make a bad play, you have somebody that lifts you up. When you have a good play, it’s exciting, you can see everyone running around, and it’s a good feeling.”
(On Gardner Minshew II’s efforts) “For sure, he is going to make something happen. You just have to be able to get open and help him make something happen, and that’s what we do. He’s going to make a guy.”
