JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie WR Terry Godwin to the practice squad, the club announced today. The team had one open spot on the 10-man practice squad after WR Keelan Doss was signed by Oakland to the active roster yesterday (Monday, Sept. 9).
Godwin, 5-11, 185, was a seventh-round draft selection by Carolina in the 2019 NFL Draft, but was released by the Panthers during final roster reductions. The Hogansville, Ga. native played collegiately at the University of Georgia and totaled 133 career receptions for 1,788 receiving yards, which ranked 11th and 13th in school history, respectively.
Godwin will wear No. 19 for the Jaguars.
