The Jaguars are 15-15 in season openers and 4-4 all-time against the Panthers, including a 3-1 record at home. In their most recent meeting in Week 17 of 2023, Jacksonville blanked Carolina, the ninth shutout in franchise history. RB Travis Etienne Jr. will face off against his brother, RB Trevor Etienne, for the first time after he was drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft.

DUVAL AFTER DARK: The Jaguars will appear on Monday Night Football for the 18th time, and third straight season, in a Week 5 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The last time Jacksonville played on Monday Night Football in three consecutive seasons was 2006-08. The Jaguars are 7-5 all-time at home on Monday Night Football.

WILD WILD WEST: Jacksonville begins its NFC West slate of games with a road matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. Arik Armstead, the 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year, returns to San Francisco to face the team that drafted him 17th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. In his nine seasons in the Bay, Armstead produced 33.5 sacks, 85 quarterback hits, 42 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. The Jaguars host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6 before heading across the pond to take on the Los Angeles Rams in the team’s annual London trip. Seattle has lost in each of their last two visits to Duval County. Jacksonville finishes its NFC West schedule with a Week 12 game against the Arizona Cardinals, one of four games slated for the Jaguars to begin at 4:05 p.m. ET. The trip to Arizona is the Jaguars’ first since 2017.

GOING THE DISTANCE:The Jaguars will travel the fourth-most miles in the NFL during the 2025 season, logging 29,006 round-trip miles and 36 time zone changes (via Bill Speros). Jacksonville will head west four times to visit Arizona (3,606), Denver (2,936), Las Vegas (3,939) and San Francisco (4,693), accounting for 15,174 total miles. The Jaguars’ annual trip to London is their longest of the season at 8,524 miles.

FIRST THINGS FIRST: First-overall draft picks QB Trevor Lawrence (2021) and DE Travon Walker (2022) and the Jaguars are currently slated to face five fellow first-overall draft selections in 2025, including Titans QB Cam Ward (2025), Panthers QB Bryce Young (2023), Bengals QB Joe Burrow (2020), Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (2019) and Rams QB Matthew Stafford (2009).

DON’T I KNOW YOU?: The Jaguars face their first divisional opponent in Week 3 of the 2025 season when the Houston Texans visit EverBank Stadium. The last three times the teams have met, each game has been decided by four points or less. The season series between the clubs will conclude in Houston in Week 10, where Jacksonville has won two of the last three contests.

Four of Jacksonville’s final six games come against divisional opponents in 2025. The first takes place in Week 13 when they travel to Nashville to play against the Tennessee Titans. The game marks the first time QB Cam Ward will face WR/DB Travis Hunter, the top two selections in the 2025 NFL Draft. The two AFC South rivals conclude their two-game series with a Week 18 game to close out the regular season for the third time in four years. Jacksonville has defeated the Titans at home in each of the last three seasons.

Jacksonville welcomes the Indianapolis Colts to northeast Florida in Week 14. The Jaguars have won 10 straight home games against the Colts, the longest streak against any team in franchise history. Last season in the home matchup, QB Trevor Lawrence threw for a career-high 371 yards in a 37-34 victory on his 25th birthday.

The Jaguars +41 point differential over the Titans since 2022 (six games) is their second highest against any opponent in that span. The highest is against the Colts (+44).

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK:First-time head coaches Liam Coen and Aaron Glenn will meet in Week 15 when the Jaguars take on the New York Jets. Glenn previously suited up as a Jaguar for one season in 2007, appearing in five games as a cornerback. 2025 marks the second consecutive year the teams will face off in Week 15 at EverBank Stadium. Last season vs. the Jets, WR Brian Thomas Jr. recorded 105 yards and two touchdowns on a career-high 10 receptions en route to breaking rookie franchise records in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in a season. The Jaguars are 9-8 against the Jets in the regular season and 5-2 at home.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH: The Jaguars return to Empower Field at Mile High in Week 16 to take on the Denver Broncos, their first visit to the Rocky Mountain state since 2019 and 30 seasons after one of the greatest postseason victories in team history, a 30-27 victory over QB John Elway and the Denver Broncos, which propelled Jacksonville into its first AFC Championship game. The last time the team visited Denver (Week 4 of 2019), Jacksonville won, 26-24, on a 33-yard walk-off field goal. 2025 first-round pick WR/DB Travis Hunter will return to the state of Colorado, where he authored his 2024 Heisman-winning campaign.

OUT OF OFFICE: The Jaguars will have their Bye Week in Week 8. Jacksonville has had a bye in Week 8 three times in team history, most recently in 2020. The last time the Jaguars’ Bye Week followed the London game was in 2021.

WEMBLEY REUNION: The Jaguars will return to Wembley Stadium on Oct. 19th to take on the Los Angeles Rams. The Week 7 matchup marks the franchise’s 14th international game, the most of any team in NFL history. General Manager James Gladstone (2016-24) and Head Coach Liam Coen (2018-20, 2022) both spent time with the Rams organization. The Jaguars carry a two-game winning streak at Wembley into their matchup against the Rams after defeating Atlanta in 2023 and New England last season. In 2024 at Wembley, WR Parker Washington returned a punt 96 yards for a touchdown, the longest in franchise history and the longest punt return for a touchdown in the NFL last season. Washington’s return was the first special-teams touchdown since the NFL London games began in 2007.
