JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced eight additions to the coaching staff as part of the NFL’s Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program. For over 30 years, the league wide program has helped outstanding coaches gain exposure to NFL training camps and offseason workout programs.
All eight coaches will be with the team for the entirety of training camp, which began on Wednesday, July 26. For the second consecutive year, Jaguars Assistant Offensive Line Coach Todd Washington led the search for the participants. Washington has participated in the program five times as a member of East Texas Baptist University, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Rams, the Chicago Bears, and the Miami Dolphins.
“When I was asked to lead the selection process, I was eager to do it,” said Washington. “I take pride in trying to find the right people because I understand the value it can provide to both the coaches in the program and the team. As someone who has been a participant many times, I am thankful that Coach Pederson and the Jaguars understand the importance of this program and are committed to giving these coaches invaluable experience that will advance their careers.”

The 2023 season will be his first at Grayson. Prior to joining the Grayson’s coaching staff, Anderson spent the 2022 season as the outside receivers coach at Hampton University. During his lone season at Hampton, he helped develop WR Jadakis Bonds who was selected First-Team All-CAA. His previous coaching stops include Rutland High School (2021-22) as the offensive coordinator, Tusculum University (2019-21) as the wide receivers coach, University of West Georgia (2018-2019) as a quality control wide receivers coach, and Brunswick High School (2018) as the quarterbacks coach. He played wide receiver at Valdosta State University for four years (2012-15) after making the transition from quarterback his freshman year. During that time, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. He later went on to earn a Masters of Sports Administration from Tusculum in 2021.
Tony Carter finished his first season with the Orlando Guardians of the XFL as the defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach in 2022. He has had a variety of coaching experience such as cornerbacks coach at Southern Illinois University (2021-22), defensive assistant and interim defensive backs coach for the Detroit Lions (2020), cornerbacks coach/special teams coach at Jacksonville University (2019), strength and conditioning coach at Tom Shaw Performance (2019), and served as a Nike camp coach (2007-18). Carter also gained coaching experience through a variety of internships with the Miami Dolphins (2022), Las Vegas Raiders (2018), University of Tennessee (2018), Mississippi State University (2017), and the University of Georgia (2017). As a player, he spent eight seasons in the NFL at cornerback (2009-16) for the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and Indianapolis Colts. In college, he played at Florida State University (2004-08), where he was selected First-Team All-ACC (2007-08) two years in a row.
Jeremy Harris began his coaching career at East Los Angeles College in 2018 and spent last season as the defensive backs/special teams coach. As a coach he is known for his ability to relate to the challenges players face both physically and mentally. Before he found a passion for coaching, he played safety at East Los Angeles College and later transferred to New Mexico State (2010-12) to finish his collegiate career. In the 2013 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round (No. 208). Harris is also a big believer in giving back to the community and has helped lead the USA football fundamentals camp in Los Angeles, Calif., which is a completely free football camp for his community.
Tyree Nobles Jr. currently serves as an assistant defensive quality control coach for the University of Georgia (2022), who won its second consecutive National Championship last season. His previous coaching stops include wide receivers graduate assistant at Rutgers University (Winter 2022), player development at Rutgers (2021-22), cornerbacks coach at Concord University (Summer 2021), wide receivers coach at Lackawanna College (Spring 2021), and defensive backs coach at Lenape High School (2019-20). Prior to his coaching career, he spent three seasons as a defensive back for Lackawanna (2013-15) and then finished his collegiate career at Widener University (2016-17).
Marco Regalado finished his first season as the director of player personnel/recruiting innovation for Rice University (2022). After he joined the recruiting efforts at Rice, he helped secure the three highest rated commits for the 2023 class. He has had previous stints at Washington State University where he started as a recruiting assistant (Feb.-Jul. 2021), then was promoted to director of on-campus recruiting (Jul. 2021- Feb. 2022), and eventually became the director of recruiting in February 2022. Regalado has had previous coaching experience at V.R. Eaton High School as the running backs coach/recruiting coordinator (2020-21) and at PSJA Memorial High School as the special teams coordinator/linebackers coach (2019-20). He received a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from Texas State University (2014) and completed a M.Ed. in educational administration at Texas A&M University Kingsville (2016).
Jonathon Rowe has served as an offensive graduate assistant/offensive line coach at the University of Washington since January 2020. In 2022, University of Washington ranked second in the Pac-12 conference with a record of 11-2. He had previous coaching stints at American River Community college as the offensive line coach (2019-20), Sacramento State University as an offensive graduate assistant/offensive line coach (2018-19), and Humboldt State University as a tight ends/assistant offensive line coach (2017-18). Rowe earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Humboldt State University (2016) and went on to earn a master’s degree in education-intercollegiate athletic leadership at Washington (2020-21).
Paul Spicer currently serves as the defensive line coach for the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL (2022). He has had a variety of coaching positions over the past 12 years in college, the NFL, and USFL. Prior to his position with the Beakers, he spent four years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the assistant defensive line coach (2015-19). Before his stint in Tampa, he was the defensive line coach for Jackson State University (2014) and was an assistant defensive line coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2011-13). Prior to becoming a coach, he spent eight seasons with the Jaguars (2000-08), and 11 in the NFL. After winning Super Bowl XLIV with the New Orleans Saints, Spicer signed a one-day contract with Jacksonville on Feb. 23, 2011 to retire a Jaguar.
Jordan Todman finished his first season as the running backs and strength coach for the Limestone University Saints (2022). In 2018, he was a defensive analyst and special teams assistant at Jacksonville University while co-founding Rising Athletes Training and starting Elite Performance and Wellness Center. He spent seven seasons as a running back and kick returner in the NFL with the Steelers, Colts Texans, and Jaguars (2011-18). During his collegiate years, he played at the University of Connecticut (2008-10) where he was named the Big East Offensive Player of the Year in 2010.
