2023 DRAFT RECAP

With the 27th overall selection, the Jaguars selected OL Anton Harrison. Harrison played in 34 career games at Oklahoma (24 starts) in three seasons. In 2022, he was named First-Team All-Big 12.
“There’s a lot of consistency in his game,” Head Coach Doug Pederson said. “You love everything about his length and athleticism, how he moves, his strength, all things as Trent mentioned that will fit us.
We’re just excited for Anton and just getting in that offensive line room, getting around the other guys in that room, getting to work.”
Harrison was the fourth Jaguars selection from Oklahoma in franchise history and the highest Sooner selection ever by the team. It marked the fourth time the Jaguars selected an offensive lineman in the first

NOTE THE QUOTE: ON THE 2023 DRAFT CLASS
“So when you have 13 picks, it allows you to draft some of those guys that you would normally be fighting for in college free agency. But once you get these guys on the team, we don’t set any boundaries. We don’t set any limits. Whether you’re the first guy on the roster or the 90th guy on the roster, you come in and compete. If you earn the spot you’re going to earn the spot.”
