MIAMI (August 5, 2022) – Inter Miami CF announced today that it has acquired $125,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) from the New England Revolution in exchange for goalkeeper Clément Diop.
“We’d like to thank Clément for his efforts on and off the field as an Inter Miami player,” said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson. “We wish him well in this next chapter of his career in New England.”
Diop, 28, signed for Inter Miami in Jan. 2022 after training with the team for much of the 2021 MLS season. The goalkeeper went on to start the first three games of the 2022 MLS season.

MIAMI (5 de agosto del 2022) – Inter Miami CF anunció hoy que ha recibido $125,000 en Fondos de Adjudicación Generales, (GAM) por sus siglas en inglés, para el 2023 del New England Revolution a cambio del portero Clément Diop.
“Nos gustaría agradecerle a Clément sus esfuerzos dentro y fuera del campo en su etapa como jugador de Inter Miami”, dijo el CSO y director deportivo Chris Henderson. “Le deseamos lo mejor en este nuevo capítulo de su carrera con el equipo de New England”.
Diop, de 28 años, fichó con Inter Miami en enero del 2022 luego de entrenar con el equipo durante gran parte de la temporada 2021 de la MLS. El guardameta posteriormente fue titular en los primeros tres partidos de la temporada 2022 de la MLS.
