[Orlando, Florida] – The Hula Bowl is excited to announce the addition of Brett Bohl to its
team as the new Director of Special Projects and Official Scout. Brett brings a wealth of
experience in the sports industry, including national speaking, TV hosting, and fundraising,
making him a valuable asset to the Hula Bowl’s future endeavors.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Brett has become a respected figure in the
sports community, particularly within high schools, colleges, and faith-based
organizations. He is the host of “The Ohio Brett Show: For God & Country in Sports”
which airs on national streaming networks PPN and Brighteon. The show features leaders
and All-Stars from across America, sharing their inspiring stories and insights from the
world of sports.
“It is an absolute honor, to join the Hula Bowl team as Director of Special Projects and
Official Scout. One thing I know from my travels these last few years is that the Aloha Spirit
breathes in all 50 states. I look forward to being a good team player the week of the Hula
Bowl and adding value in creative ways across America the other 51 weeks of the year.”
Bohl states.
Brett hails from Dublin, Ohio and had the honor of walking on as a defensive back at the
University of Toledo. During his time with the Rockets, he played under esteemed coaches
like Dan Simrell, Nick Saban, and Gary Pinkel, with Phil Parker, the current defensive
coordinator for the Iowa Hawkeyes, serving as his position coach.

In his new role at the Hula Bowl, Brett will focus on special projects, including
