Hollywood Commissioner Linda Sherwood is expected to announce that she will leave her commission seat in November during the April 6 meeting. She is leaving her seat because she will move to Georgia to care for her daughter who has a rare form of blood cancer. She has sold her condominium and has been staying with her son and daughter who live in Hollywood. She has been participating in recent commission meetings by video when she must be in Georgia to care for her daughter.
