INDIANAPOLIS – Heading into the third week of #HLWBB play, IUPUI, Milwaukee and NKU remain undefeated with 4-0 records.
#HLWBB NEWS & NOTES
• In this week’s College Insider Women’s Mid-Major Top 25 poll, IUPUI remained No. 6 with one first-place vote and Milwaukee maintained its spot at No. 13. The Jaguars are also receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
• IUPUI is ranked fourth nationally in three-point field goal percentage defense as opponents are shooting just 19.5 percent from beyond the arc against the Jags this season. The Jags are also ranked 12th in the country in scoring defense as IUPUI is allowing just 52.3 points per game.
• Milwaukee’s Megan Walstad is pulling down 9.6 rebounds per game this season, best among League players.
• In League contests, NKU has held opponents to a field-goal percentage of 29.4 percent, which ranks first among #HLWBB teams.
• Wright State ranks 11th nationally in rebounds per game as the Raiders are averaging 48.7 per game this season.
• Kahlaijah Dean led the Golden Grizzlies with 15 points in Oakland’s contest at Michigan State last Tuesday. Dean is averaging 16.4 points per game this season.
• UIC’s Jada Nneji leads all #HLWBB players with 2.0 blocks per game.
• Detroit Mercy’s Kaela Webb leads the League in scoring as she is averaging 19.3 points per #HLWBB game.
• Youngstown State is scheduled to make its season debut on Friday against Wright State. All-League Preseason First Team selection Chelsea Olson totaled 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season for the Penguins, ranking in the top 10 of the League in each category.
• Redshirt senior Caitlyn Hibner is the leading scorer for the Phoenix so far this season with 16.6 points per game, third among #HLWBB players.
• Cleveland State’s Isabella Geraci is off to a strong start for the Vikings behind the three point line as she was 5-7 from three-point range in the first pair of CSU games this season.
• RMU will host IUPUI this weekend in the first set of home games for the Colonials in the Horizon League.
• Riley Ott (12.8 points) and Hannah Hess (12.5 points) of Purdue Fort Wayne both rank in the top ten in scoring among Horizon League players this season.

Lindsey Duvall led the Norse to their third- and fourth-straight wins while averaging 19.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds in two wins at Purdue Fort Wayne. Duvall opened with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting on Saturday, adding six rebounds to the cause. She closed the weekend with her second 20-point effort in league play, dropping 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting with another six rebounds. She converted 4-of-7 from long range in the contest. For the week, Duvall made 57 percent (16-of-28) of her field-goal attempts and 50 percent (6-of-12) from three.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK | KRISTIAN YOUNG | UIC | FRESHMAN | GUARD | INDIANAPOLIS
Kristian Young ended the weekend averaging 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals for the Flames. The freshman tallied 10 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in Saturday’s overtime win over the Titans and she finished the weekend with 11 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a personal-best seven assists in Sunday’s finale.
