GOLF: Weber Earns 2025 LPGA Tour Card

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami golf alumna Dewi Weber is once again LPGA Tour bound as she finished tied for 10th in the final qualifying stage of the LPGA Q Series, which was held at Magnolia Grove Golf Club in Mobile, Ala.

Weber shot a 12-under-par score of 346 across five rounds of play to finish tied for 10th and earn 2025 LPGA status.

The Groningen, Netherlands, native started the final stage with a bang, shooting a 67 in the opening round. Weber tumbled 35 spots after recording a second-round score of 77, but regrouped and shot a 68-66-68 in the final three rounds to climb back in the top 25.

Weber first joined the LPGA Tour in 2022 and has tallied two top-10 finishes in her career – a tied-for-sixth-place finish at 2022 Dow Championships and an eighth-place showing at the 2024 Portland Classic.

During her time at Miami, Weber was a three-time All-American, the first Miami golfer to earn the honor thrice. She twice represented the Netherlands in the World Amateur Team Championship and played for Team International in the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup.

The 2025 LPGA Tour begins on Jan. 30 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona Golf & CC in Orlando, Fla.
