BOCA RATON, Fla. – Willow and Palm Construction has announced an innovative partnership with NILinParadise to unlock the doors to opportunity for families in need. This collaboration aims to construct a minimum of 36 new Habitat for Humanity homes in Palm Beach County, while providing Florida Atlantic men’s basketball and football a lucrative Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) partnership.
“We have always prided ourselves on being the hometown team, and this is a true example of that,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White. “I want to thank both Willow and Palm and NILinParadise for their partnership on this endeavor and for their creativity in providing a way to give back to the greater Palm Beach County community, while also providing NIL opportunities for our student-athletes.”
Under the leadership of Adam Nelson and Mike Ream, owner of Delray Beach-based Willow and Palm Construction, this partnership underscores a shared commitment to community upliftment. Florida Atlantic men’s basketball and football players will contribute their time and efforts to the construction and unveiling of these homes, thereby embodying the spirit of service and solidarity.
“Bringing the student athletes to the forefront of the community ensures a healthy and long relationship for Willow and Palm, Habitat for Humanity PBC and the Athlete. As former athletes Mike and I thought long and hard on how to provide a true work experience for the FAU Athletes.” said Nelson.
Through this partnership, Florida Atlantic men’s basketball and football players will be rolling up their sleeves to assist in building homes, distributing essentials, and supporting Habitat for Humanity’s noble mission. They will play a part in enhancing the lives of deserving families, veterans, and citizens of South Florida, while fostering a sense of gratitude and giving-back in Florida Atlantic student-athletes.
