GEN Paradise Club Announces Another Record-Breaking Year

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics announced Monday another record-breaking fiscal year for fundraising as the Paradise Club shattered the previous year’s all-time high by 13%, generating $26.1 million in philanthropic giving.
The department has set a fundraising standard in each of the last three fiscal years, including marks that surpassed $20 million in each of the last two. The Paradise Club earned nine gifts totaling six or seven figures in the 2025 fiscal year and its 45 such gifts since 2018 are the most in any seven-year stretch in school history.26.1 M Raised“I am incredibly grateful for our athletics donors as their philanthropic contributions have become the cornerstone of our success,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White. “This generosity helps us further our mission of creating a brighter future for FAU through student-athlete success and in our relentless pursuit of athletic and academic excellence. I also want to recognize our Paradise Club staff who have worked tirelessly to make this happen.”The Owls generated $7.2 million in athletics fundraising in 2022, doubling the total from the previous year. It doubled its revenues again in 2023 with a record $15.3 million, following that with $23 million last year and $26.1 million this year. Since 2021, athletics fundraising has surged by 625%.The philanthropic gifts received in FY 2025 have allowed the Owls to continue enhancing their athletics facilities, while supplementing the operational dollars necessary to enable championship success and elevate the total student-athlete experience.In correlation, and as a direct result of its surging philanthropic returns, Florida Atlantic Athletics has continued to establish records each year for the academic achievements of its student-athletes, has generated billions in equivalent media exposure for the university and experienced unprecedented athletic championship success.As collegiate athletics enters a new era this July with the ability to revenue share directly with student-athletes for the first time, the importance of the Paradise Club has never been greater.Prepared to embrace this new landscape of collegiate athletics, FAU established the Competitive Excellence Fund to be the driving force behind the mission of creating a brighter future for FAU through student-athlete success.The fund allows Florida Atlantic to provide a premier student-athlete experience where the Owls can compete at the highest level and win championships.
