NOTABLE

•                     The Jaguars host the Kansas City Chiefs in Jacksonville on Sunday for the first time since 2019. Jacksonville is entering the game 1-0 after defeating the Indianapolis Colts on the road. The Jaguars are 4-3 all-time against the Chiefs at home. For the first time in franchise history, the Jaguars will face the defending Super Bowl champion in their season home opener.

•                     Fans are encouraged to wear teal to participate in a stadium-wide “Teal Out” with teal jerseys and pants for players and teal endzones.

•                     With mobile parking implemented for the first season, fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early with new layouts and construction around the sports complex impacting traffic patterns. Parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff and passes must be scanned upon entry to assigned parking lots. •                     A limited number of standing room only tickets are still available.

•                     Fans are invited to experience the new Miller Electric Center Pro Shop on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and opens at 9 a.m. on game day. Fans can expect the store to be open on Thursdays and Fridays before home games from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ACTIVATIONS

During the game, the Jaguars Foundation and NFL Foundation will join with local community organizations to present a combined donation in support of the residents of the New Town neighborhood in the wake of the racially motivated shooting on Aug. 26. The check will be presented on the field during the first quarter.

The Jaguars’ and NFL Foundation’s combined $300,000 contribution will go to food security, victims, community support and long-term community advocacy, in addition to the collective support for the First Coast Relief Fund, a collaboration of the area’s leading philanthropic organizations dedicated to helping Northeast Florida residents in times of crisis.

GAME DAY PATRIOTISM

“The Star-Spangled Banner” will be performed by Madison Hughes, a singer-songwriter from Ponte Vedra Beach. Madison broke out on the national scene when she wowed the coaches for a three-chair turn on Season 22 of NBC’s The Voice and competed on Team Blake. Madison has released original music independently with one of the songs being praised by Billboard Magazine.

ROAR member Brooke will interpret “The Star-Spangled Banner” for the hearing impaired.

The colors for the game will be presented by members of the Jacksonville Recruiting Battalion Color Guard led by Staff Sgt. Bradford Ford.

The Boxing Gators of the 159th Fighter Squadron of the Florida Air National Guard’s 125th Air Wing will perform the flyover prior to the start of the game. The squadron provides air defense for the southeastern United States, as directed by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).

Sgt. 1st Class Jimmy Riley Jr. will be honored as the Bell Ringer for Sunday’s game. Riley joined the U.S. Army as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst serving at multiple locations before becoming an Army Recruiter. Riley is currently a part of the Jacksonville Army Recruiting Battalion, and his next assignment takes him to Kansas City Battalion where he will serve as a Station Commander.

Sgt. Laquan Borden will be honored as Veteran of the Game. Borden joined the U.S. Army in June 2005, as a Combat Medic following high school. He experienced three deployments to Afghanistan over 11 years and received three Purple Hearts for being wounded in combat. Borden also received multiple Valor Awards for bravery in combat.

FIRST DUUUVAL

The First DUUUVAL will be delivered by former Jaguars Center Brandon Linder. Linder played eight seasons with the Jaguars after being drafted by the team in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He retired from football in March 2022.

HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT

The halftime show will be performed by the Marching Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University. Known as “The PRIDE,” the band has more then 200 members including instrumentalists, the Sophisticat Flag Corp and the 14 Karat Gold Dancers. The band will be back in EverBank Stadium when the Bethune-Cookman University football team hosts Southern University on Oct. 21 at 4 p.m.

FAN REMINDERS

•                     Be Clear on Game Day – The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect at EverBank Field.  Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if one is necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.” Non-clear belt bags and fanny packs are prohibited.

•                     Mobile Ticketing and Parking – Fans should have their mobile tickets and parking downloaded and ready to scan prior to arriving at parking lots and stadium entry gates. To access, download the Official Jaguars Mobile App.

•                     Stay Cool – Guests are permitted to bring one, commercially branded, factory-sealed, plastic, 16.9 oz. or less size bottle of water. A Cooling Bus will be available at Ramp 4 and Ramp 2 with water coolers nearby.

•                     Cashless Transactions – Cash is no longer accepted anywhere in the stadium. In addition to traditional scan and chip options, all fixed points of sale will offer tap or scan payment options including Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

•                     Arrive Early – Guests arriving to the stadium complex after 10 a.m. should expect moderate to heavy traffic delays.

•                     EverBank Stadium is a smoke-free facility. All tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) are prohibited. No guest re-entry will be permitted.
