Full-Season Entries Revealed for the 2025 Season at State of the Sport |
BRASELTON, Ga. (October 10, 2024) – Paddocks and racetracks across North America will be flush with IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race cars throughout 2025 as IMSA President John Doonan today revealed the full-season entry list for both the WeatherTech Championship and IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup as part of the annual State of the Sport presentation at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. A total of 48 entries have been confirmed for the full WeatherTech Championship season, with 55 entries slated to compete in the five Michelin Endurance Cup rounds. In addition, January’s season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona is expected to have a field in excess of 60 cars when the entry list for that event is revealed in early December. “The golden era of IMSA sports car racing is right now as evidenced by yet another incredibly strong and competitive entry list for the 2025 WeatherTech Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup season,” said Doonan. “Our top GTP category keeps growing, while we continue to see strong representation across the LMP2, GTD PRO and GTD classes. Single, full-season entries are planned from Whelen Cadillac Racing, JDC-Miller MotorSports and the Heart of Racing Team.
