AAI will announce the winner next month at the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships’ awards banquet in Fort Worth, Texas.

The five-time All-American is two-time defending Southeastern Conference balance beam  champion. She won the 2018 title with the second-highest SEC balance beam score (9.975) in the meet’s 38-year history. In 2019, Baumann became the first gymnast in 21 years to win consecutive beam titles.

Baumann competed in her first and only all-around of her Gator career versus Kentucky earlier this season and posted a total of 39.65 – the Gators’ highest ever all-around debut score.

An active member of Florida’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Baumann is the SAAC vice-president for 2020-21 academic year.
