GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Rising Gator junior Abby Gemma heads west later this month for a U.S. Soccer U-20 Training Camp. The camp runs from Feb. 24-March 3 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.
Gemma is among the 24 players U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team head coach Vicky Jepson called into the camp, which is part of continued preparations for the 2026 FIF U-20 Women’s World Cup. That event is Sept. 5-27 in Poland. The U.S. is among the 12 nations to already qualify for the 24-nation event.
The camp roster includes 10 professionals and Gemma is among the 14 college players.
Gemma spent Thanksgiving 2025 in Spain to participate in the U.S. Soccer U-20 International Training Camp. Gemma is one of 12 invited to both 2025 Spain and February 2026 training camps.
