Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that the Florida Panthers Foundation and UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) will host a drive-thru food drive at BB&T Center on Oct. 31 in conjunction with Harvest Drive Florida to benefit Broward County families in need for the upcoming holiday season.
Panthers fans and the South Florida community are invited to head to BB&T Center this Halloween between 10 am and 2 pm to drop off food donations at the Ford Garage at the front of the building. The entrance for cars will be through Gate 5 off of 136th Ave/Panther Parkway and those wishing to make donations will be able to stay in their cars throughout the drive through event.
“This year it is even more important than ever that we find a way to assist families in Broward County that are struggling to put food on their table. The Harvest Drive’s collection with the Florida Panthers at the BB&T is an opportunity for us to come together to make our community a kinder and healthier place,” said Harvest Drive Founder Renee Herman. “The food that we collect here will be distributed to families in need referred by Broward County School social workers. We are thankful to the Florida Panthers for joining with the Harvest Drive to bring much-needed food and hope to recipient families.”
