GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida gymnastics adds Alyssa Orgen to next season’s roster. She was admitted to the University of Florida and join the Gators for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
She trains at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics in Bradenton, Fla.
Coach Jenny Rowland said:
“The Gators are excited to officially welcome Alyssa to our family. Alyssa will bring a lot to this freshman class. Her passion, grit and determination of excellence – both in and out of the gym – are just a few qualities that will initially stand out. Alyssa can swing bars and perform on beam and floor with the best! We are grateful she will be sporting the orange and blue in the O’Dome!”

Alyssa Orgen said:
“I chose UF for so many different reasons but one of them is that it’s been my dream school since I was a little girl. UF just has a different type of vibe and feeling that the gymnasts and coaches have created that I’ve always dreamt of being part of.
“Some of the things that I look forward to during my time at UF is having the opportunity to be a part of the legacy, be a part of a big team and an even bigger family. I’m also excited to have all the opportunities that come with being a student-athlete at the University of Florida and making memories with my teammates for the next four years. Go Gators!”
