| 9/3/2024 | Football BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic football team hit the practice fields on Tuesday morning, once again braving the stormy weather at the Track Hagerty Complex. Tough conditions are to be expected in football, especially when preparing to face one of the most physical and disciplined teams in the nation in Army, with a 12 p.m. matchup set for Saturday, Sept. 7 at FAU Stadium. The Owls took on the challenge with open arms in a hardworking practice. They were able to get most of their session in and even saw some sun. With their upcoming opponent, coaches stressed detail on every rep, not hesitating to step in and make corrections when necessary. RADIO SHOW The Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy’s Sports Grill, debuts for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 12-1 p.m. at the Duffy’s Sports Grill on St. Andrew’s Boulevard in Boca Raton. The show then airs on the flagship station of the Florida Atlantic Sports Network, FOX Sports 640 South Florida, on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend and listen live as Herman and LaVicka discuss the team, the next week’s opponent, and other highlights across the department, while taking advantage of Duffy’s lunch and beverage specials.
