BOCA RATON, Fla. — Florida Atlantic’s football home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 7 at FAU Stadium versus Army West Point, and the Owls will celebrate Military Appreciation Day as the Black Knights come to Boca Raton.

As a thank you, the university is offering two free tickets, plus the opportunity to purchase additional discounted tickets, to any military veterans or active service personnel. The offer is available here: https://fevo-enterprise.com/event/Faumilitary5. Note: the discount will appear as the final step of the purchase process.

Various military appreciation-themed festivities are planned for inside and outside the stadium as we celebrate those who serve or have served. Veteran and military groups of 15 or more may contact the FAU Ticket Office (FlemingN2021@fau.edu) for further discounted group-ticket information.

Veterans and active service personnel, plus their immediate families, are also invited to a Military Appreciation Tailgate prior to kickoff on September 7. The tailgate is located inside the Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center and is free to attend with complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages. To sign up, register: https://admin.fausports.com/sb_output.aspx?form=2113. Registration for this event is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Under second-year Hagerty Family Head Coach Tom Herman, the Owls open the 2024 regular season at Michigan State on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. in East Lansing, Mich. FAU’s home opener is the following Saturday versus Army at noon in the first all-time meeting between Florida Atlantic and the United States Military Academy.
