QUOTABLE
Defensive Coordinator Roc Bellantoni
“We are just working our way through our installs, trying to get all of our calls in, we are just trying to get our guys exposed to some things…I thought our energy, our attitude, our effort was better than the other day. I thought it was a lot better today. We have to tackle better than we did today and we had been up until today, we have to have tighter coverage in certain situations. There are ups and downs every day and today is no different.”
Offensive Coordinator Charlie Frye
“We have seen growth, guys are competing hard. Today, we spent time in the low red area, guys flying around and trying to get the ball in the end zone and then we had a great third down period against the defense and then scrimmaged a little bit so a lot of different situations showing off. Guys are making plays out there and flying around.”
Redshirt Junior QB Cameron Fancher
“I feel like my job is to make each play successful, taking it one play at a time, one rep at a time, one day at a time.”
Redshirt Junior RB C.J. Campbell Jr.
“I am enjoying [my time at FAU]. The area is nice, beautiful weather. Everyone around here has been so welcoming so I am really enjoying my transition.”
Junior WR Jayshon Platt
“Practice has been going good this week. This offense has been growing, every day we have been getting a little bit better. I feel like everyone has been getting better at their job so it has been making the execution of the whole offense easier.”
Graduate Safety Armani Eli-Adams
“Today we had a lot of ups and downs. We gave up a few explosives…it is just a learning point we have to look forward to on Tuesday so we can get better.”
