BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books with eight former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action, including one seeing the field for the first time of his career. Here’s a rundown of how each performed during the fourth week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):

#66 Evan Anderson | DT | San Francisco 49ers
– After spending the first three weeks on the practice squad, Anderson earned his first regular season game opportunity and was activated for San Francisco’s 30-13 victory over the New England Patriots. The rookie wasted no time making an impact in his 19 snaps on defense, recording two tackles and a sack in the fourth quarter.

#0 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Houston Texans
– Al-Shaair played every single defensive snap for Houston for the third time in four games this season. He made four tackles, each of them on his own in run defense that held the opposing Jacksonville Jaguars offense to two yards or less. The Texans won by a score of 24-20.
Texans’ Record: 3-1

#84 Harrison Bryant | TE | Las Vegas Raiders
– Facing off against his former team for the first time, Bryant recorded his first start of the year against the Cleveland Brown and saw the field for a season high 76% of the team’s offensive snaps. He nabbed his first two receptions of the year, one going for 14 yards and the other for seven, as the Raiders picked up a key 20-16 victory.

#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
– In the Bengals’ 34-24 win over the Carolina Panthers, their first of the season, Hendrickson logged two tackles in run defense. In the first quarter, he tipped a pass at the line of scrimmage, deflecting into the hands of his teammate for the interception and setting up the game’s first score.
Bengals’ Record: 1-3
Next Game: vs. Baltimore – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

#43 Matthew Hayball | P | New Orleans Saints
– All three of Hayball’s punt attempts landed inside the 20 yard-line to set the New Orleans defense up in good position against the Atlanta Falcons offense. The Saints ultimately lost to their NFC South rival by a score of 26-24.
Saints’ Record: 2-2
Next Game: at Kansas City – Monday, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)

#34 Greg Joseph | K | New York Giants
– Joseph had quite the night on a primetime Thursday matchup against the division rival Dallas Cowboys. He was responsible for all 15 of the Giants’ points, going 5-for-5 on field goals to tie his career-high. His booming kick of 52-yards opened up scoring in the first quarter as he also added a 42 and 41-yarder in the 20-15 defeat.
Giants’ Record: 1-3

#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
– Pierre served as a special teams ace for Pittsburgh in their 27-24 loss against the Indianapolis Colts. He played 15 snaps to up his season total to 28 through his first two games.
Steelers Record: 3-1
Next Game: vs. Dallas – Sunday, 8:15 p.m. (NBC)

#26 Devin Singletary | RB | New York Giants
– “Motor” made key plays to help set up his Owl brother Greg Joseph on several field goals. His best play of the day came on a 14-yard reception to give the Giants a first down. Singletary finished the evening with 38 total yards from scrimmage.
Giants’ Record: 1-3
