BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books with six former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action. Here’s a rundown of how each performed during the 17th week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):

#69 Evan Anderson | DT | San Francisco 49ers
– Anderson saw the field for 37 total snaps, 31 on defense, on primetime as San Francisco took on the Detroit Lions on Monday night. The Niners ultimately fell by a score of 40-34.
Season Stats: In 11 games/one start, 22 tackles (11 solo, 11 assists), two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two quarterback hits
49ers’ Record: 6-10 (Fourth in NFC West)

#84 Harrison Bryant | TE | Las Vegas Raiders
– Bryant played 15 snaps, nine on offense and six on special teams, in Las Vegas’ 25-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Season Stats: In 12 games/11 starts, nine catches for 86 yards (9.6 per catch with a long of 18), five first downs
Raiders’ Record: 4-12 (Fourth in AFC West)
Next Game: vs. L.A. Chargers – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
#43 Matthew Hayball | P | New Orleans Saints
– In seven punts, Hayball recorded 330 yards, second most of his career as one went for a career-long 64 yards. The Saints fell to Bryant and the Raiders, 25-10.
Season Stats: In 16 games, 72 punts for 3,172 yards (44.1 per punt with a long of 64), 39 punts inside the 20-yard line (first in NFL)
Saints’ Record: 5-11 (Third in NFC South)

#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
– Hendrickson and Cincinnati are still alive in the AFC playoff hunt, taking down the Denver Broncos in a 30-24 overtime thriller for their fourth straight win. He had three tackles, two going for a loss including a half-sack to up his season total to 14.
Season Stats: In 16 games/16 starts, 14 sacks (leads NFL), 41 tackles (30 solo, 11 assists), 16 TFLs, career high 31 QB hits, career high five pass deflections
Bengals’ Record: 8-8 (Third in AFC North, currently the ninth seed in the conference and can earn a spot in the playoffs with a win and losses by the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins in Week 18)
Next Game: at Pittsburgh (and Pierre) – Saturday, 8 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
– Making his second straight start, Pierre recorded a pass deflection and made one tackle. The Steelers were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day by a score of 29-10.
Season Stats: In 14 games/two starts, 23 tackles (17 solo, six assists), one interception, three PD, two forced fumbles
Steelers’ Record: 10-6 (Second in AFC North, currently fifth seed in the conference)

#26 Devin Singletary | RB | New York Giants
– “Motor” recorded five carries for 21 yards, including a long of 13, as the Giants picked up a 45-33 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Singletary also hauled in a catch for nine yards.
Season Stats: In 14 games/five starts, 106 carries for 415 yards (3.9 per carry with a long of 43), four touchdowns, 20 catches for 124 (6.2 per catch with a long of 23), 26 total first downs
Giants’ Record: 3-13 (Fourth in NFC East)
