BOCA RATON, Fla. – Friday, Oct. 7 will mark Senior Night for the Florida Atlantic University women’s soccer team. The Owls will honor their nine seniors prior to the Conference USA match against UTEP, with the ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. prior to the 7 p.m. kick.

ABOUT THE OWLS
- FAU will honor its senior class of Hailey Landrus, Bri Austin, Hunter Koziara, Amber Tam, Luisa Daikeler, Thelma Hermannsdottir, Amanda Martin and Gi Krstec for their dedication and contributions to the program
- This senior class has been a part of 44 wins over the last five years, including back-to-back Conference USA regular season titles in 2018 and 2019
- The Owls are looking to keep the momentum going after a 2-0 victory at home over Charlotte this past Sunday
- FAU sits at fourth place in the C-USA standings with seven conference points
- The Owls have already played the current first, second and third place teams in UAB, Rice and North Texas, respectively
- Morgan McDonald tallied her first collegiate goal early on, not even two minutes in against Charlotte. She was assisted by Bri Austin and Mia Sennes
- Austin scored the insurance goal in the 66′ off a through ball assist from Gi Krstec
- For her efforts, Austin was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week. Austin leads FAU in goals (5) assists (4) and points (14)
- Amanda Martin also landed on the C-USA weekly honor roll, hauling in the nod for Defensive Player of the Week. Martin anchored the FAU back line in its sixth shutout of the season against Charlotte and has been a centerpiece to the stout FAU defense this season. The Owls rank third in the conference in goals against average, with a mark of just 0.93 goals against per game

- This series is even at 3-3 dating back to 2013
- The Owls took a 1-0 victory in El Paso last year, thanks to the clutch goal from Krstec
- Krstec scored with less than two minutes remaining to give FAU the three conference points
