GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two generous Gator Boosters and Florida Victorious donors have committed $500,000 each and are challenging their fellow Gators to match their $1 million collective gift to Florida Victorious for the football program.
Any donation made to Florida Victorious for football from Dec. 19 until Jan. 17 will be counted in this effort.
Florida finished the season strong with wins over No. 21 LSU and No. 9 Ole Miss, before finishing the regular season off with a win over Florida State. The Gators will look to make it four wins in a row when they take on Tulane in the Gasparilla Bowl on Dec. 20. The contributions will be earmarked for football, specifically, and go towards helping Florida’s football program as they enter the offseason and look to compete in the transfer portal and beyond.
