The Detroit Sports Media Association (DSMA) is happy to inform you that we have awarded our DSMA Lifetime Membership to both Eli Zaret & Dennis Davidson. Their involvement in the DSMA has been outstanding.
Eli Zaret – From his master of ceremonies at our Big Game Tablegate Luncheon, the Uncle Ray’s Potato Chips “CHIP CHAMPION CHALLENGE” and involvement over the years in our scholarship selections and so many other DSMA activities – Eli is a most valuable member!
We appreciate Eli’s work with the DSMA while saluting Eli’s sports broadcasting career with WDIV-TV, WJBK-TV, WABX, WJZZ, WRIF, WCSX, WDFN, Fox Sports Detroit, the “Tigers Pregame Show with Sparky Anderson,” “Eli & Denny Show,” “The Lockerroom” and the Pistons broadcasts.
Dennis Davidson – Dennis served our membership as a Board Member and Officer, chaired/co-chaired the DSMA Charity Golf Scramble, assisted on many DSMA lunch meetings and the speakers and received the DSMA Kathy Best “Best of the Best Award” for his work with Kronk Boxing under the late Emanuel Steward. Dennis is a DSMA most valuable member!
We appreciate Dennis’s work with the DSMA as well as his sports and news broadcasting and public relations career with the United States Army, Kronk Boxing, Phone Programs/Sports Phone, Red Wings game night staff and the City of Romulus. And congratulations on being named the 38th Person of the Year Award honoree by the Greater Romulus Chamber of Commerce.
Congratulations to both Eli & Dennis! This DSMA recognition of their contributions to our organization is so very much deserved.
