Dre Greenlaw Suspended One Game

NEW YORK — Oct. 20, 2025 — Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended without pay for one game for unsportsmanlike conduct following Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

The NFL issued the suspension for a violation of Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1(b), which prohibits “the use of abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials, or representatives of the League.”

After the conclusion of the Giants-Broncos game, Greenlaw chased after referee Brad Allen and verbally threatened him as he tried to leave the field.

Greenlaw will be eligible to return to the Broncos’ active roster on Monday, Oct. 27, following the team’s Oct. 26 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Greenlaw has three days to appeal the suspension.
